Mandolin Time

I don't usually get out of the office much during the day, but I cut out early yesterday to catch former Nickel Creek (and current Punch Brothers) frontman Chris Thile at Canal Room, part of the Tribeca Film Festival's Music Lounge. Damn, this guy's almost as good a storyteller as he is with that banj...er, mandolin. Classical highlight: the prelude from Bach's E-major Violin Partita.
