St. Louis Bound

I'm headed to St. Louis today for the annual Music Critics Association of North America (MCANA) conference, where classical music journalists from all over the country join to discuss the state of music criticism, both in print and online. There are going to be some real heavy-hitters there, and it'll be cool to hear what everyone has to say for themselves. The timing of the conference coincides with a couple of major musical events in town, including the North American premiere of Unsuk Chin's Alice in Wonderland at Opera Theatre of St. Louis and the Pulitzer Festival of Contemporary Music, hosted by the St. Louis Symphony.
