It's Saturday night, and Montreal feels like its ready to explode. Chromeo is doing their retro synth thing in front of 100,000 people at Place des Festivals, not to mention thousands more watching on screens throughout Place des Arts. If that weren't enough, the Montreal Fireworks Festival - yes, Montreal has a fireworks festival - just launched its weekly show in the St. Laurence River, erupting over the city like an air raid. Good thing I brought my earplugs.
