As the sun sets on day 3 of SXSW, I can't think of a better way to wind down (or up?) than hanging out under the tent at the French Legation Museum on the east side of town. No lines, free ice cream, and music courtesy of former Hole/Pumpkin Melissa Auf Der Maur, who starts out singing covers by Sinatra, Danzig and Morrissey. "We thought they would be appropriate for a Garden Party," she offers. "But, it's time to move onto stuff we know." And, out comes the Fender. (More pics below.)
