It's not every day you get to see a band the caliber of Dirty Projectors from the front row, under the most perfect Texas sunset you can imagine. Well, tonight's that night: Dave and the whole band are playing to a packed house under the tent at the French Legation Museum, and even if the sound isn't pristine, it's as happy a night as I can remember here.
