Bowery Ballroom offered a sampling of straight-up American music from bands hailing from sea to shining sea.
The Loom (Brooklyn, NY) played a stunning opening set, using the transporting vocals of John Fanning and Sydney Price and Lis Rubard's horn and trumpet playing to fall somewhere in between Bell Orchestre and The Punch Brothers.
