Squeeze Playing Bryant Park Right Now

Squeeze @ Bryant Park

DSC02543Legendary British band Squeeze played an amazing, free show last night at Bryant Park for a ridiculously intimate audience of about 500 people. The concert was taped for broadcast as part of PBS' Artists Den series, and was one of the best kept secrets of any NYC show in recent memory, in order to avoid conflict with the producers of their Radio City show this past Tuesday. Anchored by longtime lead singer/guitarist Glenn Tillbrook and lyricist Chris Difford, they played pretty much all the hits from their extensive catalog, as well as selections from their upcoming new album, Spot The Difference, their first studio release in 12 years. An absolutely joyous experience, top to bottom - you should have been there.
