Tully Scope: Tyondai Braxton with the Wordless Music Orchestra

TyondaiHow's this for a way to start off the week: tonight's installment of Tully Scope has Caleb making his conducting debut, leading the Wordless Music Orchestra in Adams' "Road Movies", Andriessen's "Workers Union", his own "In a Distant Place," and the NY Premiere of Tyondai Braxton's Central Market. Tyondai's music, which received it's world premiere in Minneapolis on Friday, is based on his ambitious new solo album of the same name, which is supposedly inspired by the ballets of Igor Stravinsky and the film scores of Bernard Herrmann. Sounds like a time.
